Changes to the undergraduate catalog since publishing date: 3/2/2025


3/3/2025 

Removed MATH 3304  from the major requirements area of the Mathematical Science, Mathematics 7-12 Certification, B.S.  plan. 

Added MATH 3307  to the major requirements area of the Mathematical Science, Mathematics 4-8 Certification, B.A.  plan. 

Removed MATH 4315  and added MATH 4351  to the MATH/STAT portion of the Data Science Specialization on the Mathematical Science, B.S.  plan.

 

3/3/2025

The Physics, 7-12 Physics/Mathematics Certification, B.S.  plan was added to the catalog.

Program Educational Objectives for the Mechanical Engineering, B.S.  were updated to match the ABET accreditation recommendation.

 

3/11/2025

The Project Management and Technical Leadership Certificate  plan was added to the catalog.

 

3/20/2025

Political Science Minor  added to the catalog.

 

3/28/2025

PSYC 4373  added to the catalog.  It was previously added to the graduate catalog in error.

 

4/1/2025

Chemistry, Chemistry 7-12 Certification, B.A.  and Early Childhood: PreKindergarten - Grade 3 Certification with Bilingual Certification received required approvals and was added to the catalog. 

 

4/2/2025

AERO 3334  added to major requirements for Aerospace Engineering, B.S.   The course was missed when the plan was added.  It was correctly identified on the Aerospace Engineering, B.S. Degree Map .

The Pre-Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Specialization, (Transfer track)  was added to the catalog.  This program was missed when adding new approved programs.  

 

4/3/2025

The Math Center was removed from the Student Success and Initiatives Division  page.  The content was not removed from a previous catalog.

 

4/22/2025

New Student Admissions  was updated to reflect TSI2 assessment. 

 

5/6/2025

ISAM 4335  was added into the catalog.  The course was approved but missed the import process.

Conditional Admissions requirement updated. 

Conditional Admissions Applicants who do not meet UHCL automatic admissions requirements may be eligible to be Conditionally Admitted under Individual Review. • Conditional admission is likely available to students with a GPA >= 2.5 but < 2.75 • If conditionally admitted, students will need to attend the Summer Engagement Academy Program and successfully complete six credit hours with a C or above.
