GEOG 4327 - Introduction to Spatial AnalysisCredit Hours: 3 Lecture: 1.5 Lab: 1.5
This course provides an interdisciplinary introduction to spatial analysis, focusing on the concepts, tools, and techniques used to examine spatial patterns and relationships across geographic space. Students will explore how spatial data is collected, visualized, and analyzed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and spatial statistics. Emphasis is placed on real-world applications across the humanities as well as social and natural sciences and business. Prerequisite: GEOG 3321 or GEOG 3322.
Prerequisites: Prerequisite GEOG 3321 or GEOG 3322 or instructor approval.
