ADSU 6438 - Trauma Informed School Leadership

This course provides educational leadership candidates and other professionals with strategies to create trauma- informed school environments. Candidates will critically examine relevant research of the impact of trauma on student social, emotional, and academic achievement. Additionally, candidates will examine best practices in identifying and mitigating trauma responses, and collaboration with school and community mental health professional to support students’ well-being and achievement.
