This course will cover the eight components of the CDC Coordinated School Health model (Health Education; Healthy and Safe School Environment; Counseling and Mental Health Services; Parent and Community Involvement; Staff Wellness; Promotion Health Services; Physical Education; Nutrition Services). The course is designed to address the current health issues facing school-aged children and the links between academic success and health issues. Cross-listed: PSYC 6138
Prerequisites: Psy.D. major. Admission to the Health Service Psychology program.
