Educational Leadership and Administration M.S. in Teacher Leadership


The Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration, focused on Teacher Leadership, prepares educators to drive positive change in schools. This program emphasizes instructional and curricular leadership, professional development planning, and coaching and feedback. Through hands-on experiences, students develop the skills to lead teams and advocate for best practices, ultimately enhancing student achievement and educator effectiveness.

The hybrid graduate plan in Educational Leadership and Administration leads to the Master of Science degree with a focus on Teacher Leadership. The degree consists of 30 hours of graduate coursework. Candidates for this master’s degree must complete the Professional Education Core (3 hours), the Teacher Leadership Core (24 hours) and the Capstone Experience (3 hours). Students will be eligible to register for the capstone experience, ADSU 6735, Leadership Research Seminar after they have successfully completed at least 18 hours of the master’s degree.
