Early Childhood Education Minor

The 15-hour Minor in Early Childhood Education (ECE) in the College of Education will provide students the fundamental theories, concepts and practices in working with young children. This minor will provide students a rich learning experience regarding early childhood issues, including literacy development, parent engagement and curriculum. Courses may be especially attractive to majors in psychology and sociology who may want to work with CPS, Child Care Licensing, or other agencies related to children and families. Choose from any of the following courses for completing the minor.
