English Minor

A minor in English serves students seeking to improve their critical thinking and writing skills and knowledge of literary and rhetorical texts, genres, and traditions while pursuing careers in teaching, writing, and communication or continuing to graduate studies. For an English minor, students must complete 15 hours (five courses) in ENGL. No course may be used to satisfy more than one requirement. All courses for minor credit must be completed with a grade of “C” or better.
