This plan leads to the Master of Business Administration. The degree requires a minimum of 30 hours: six required courses (18 hours), three elective courses (9 hours), and two flexible core courses (total 3 hours). Depending on a student's academic background, two additional foundation course (total 3 hours) may be required.

Grade Requirements

The College of Business requires a minimum of a 3.000 cumulative grade point average is required on course-work taken at UHCL. No grade lower than a C is acceptable toward a graduate degree. This includes foundation work as well as the plan requirements. Grades of C- or lower are not acceptable.

Additional Electives

Nine hours of additional electives are required. Electives should be selected from graduate-level courses taught in the College of Business. Students desiring to use their electives in courses taught by other colleges in the university must petition the department chair of their program for approval prior to enrolling. Course-work at the 33xx or 43xx level may not be included.
