The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) program is designed for individuals seeking both a graduate degree and Texas teacher certification in an area specified by the Texas Administrative Code. This program prepares candidates through rigorous coursework and practical experience to become effective educators.
Program Highlights:
- Earn a Master of Arts in Teaching degree and a Texas teaching certificate.
- Complete 37–40 credit hours of Educator Preparation Program (EPP) coursework aligned with your certification area.
- Participate in a clinical teaching assignment or internship.
