Law and Society Minor


As an interdisciplinary minor with courses from a range of humanities and social sciences disciplines, Law and Society benefits students seeking to strengthen their analytical and critical thinking skills while obtaining knowledge of social and political affairs. The minor particularly benefits students pursuing careers in criminal justice, the public sector or in a nonprofit agency, as well as those planning graduate study in law school. For a Law and Society minor, students must complete 15 hours or five courses from the prescribed list of courses with no more than 9 hours from one rubric. All courses for the minor credit must be completed with a grade of “C” or better.
