BIOL 3316 - Introduction to HerpetologyCredit Hours: 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0
This course is designed to give the student a basic understanding of the science of herpetology. Includes an overview of the characteristics of reptiles and amphibians, with special emphasis on snakes. Classes will include training on collection, handling and identification of local species with some off-campus field trips to local areas and zoos.
Prerequisites: BIOL 1306 , BIOL 1307
