Fee Type: Special Fee ($): 45 Course discusses the conceptual aspects of accounting systems and how they are used in the managerial decision-making process; includes discussion and applications of basic business processes and documentation of those processes in the context of internal controls (e.g., identifying risks and controls in information systems). Course includes hands-on experience in flowcharting software, spreadsheets, accounting software, database software, and generalized auditing software (IDEA).
Prerequisites: ACCT 2301 and ISAM 5330 or equivalents.
