LITR 4364 - Literature and Gender

Examines the construction of gender identity, sexuality, and gender norms in literary texts. Focus varies, and may include study of a historical period, literary movement, or genre; constructions of femininity and masculinity; sexual identities; representations of gender in relation to race, ethnicity, class, age, and ability. Cross-listed with Women’s and Gender Studies.
