MATH 3305 - Euclidian and Non-Euclidian GeometryCredit Hours: 3 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0
Fee Type: Special Fee ($): 30
A comprehensive review and extension of concepts in Euclidean Geometry. Concepts in three-dimensional geometry, non-Euclidean geometry, symmetry, and geometric transformations will also be studied. Students will explore geometric concepts using dynamic geometry software and formulate conjectures from these explorations. Those conjectures will be either refuted or proved deductively and formally. The logical foundations to deductive proofs will be studied and applied to geometric situations.
Prerequisites: MATH 1314 - College Algebra MATH 2412
