MENG 4343 - Thermal/Fluid System Design

Applications of the engineering design process, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics and heat transfer to practical engineering problems in the thermal/fluids domain. Heat exchanger design, pump and piping selections, mathematical techniques, economic considerations, curve fitting, and system identification. Use of relevant engineering codes and standards.

Prerequisites: MENG 2334 or MENG 3334 , MENG 3310 , and MENG 3316 (A grade of C or better is required in all prerequisite courses.)
Corequisites: MENG 4143.
