Printmaking course focused exclusively on the media of intaglio/etching. Students will explore etching methods through the use of copper plates and acid, learn a variety of textural techniques, and increase their understanding of visual elements such as composition, line, and value. Course may be repeated for credit.

Prerequisites: ARTS 1325 or ARTS 1316 (beginning level drawing)
