POLS 4352 - Theories of Public Policy

By overviewing different theories and approaches in the field of public policy and political science, this course examines why and how public policies are developed, implemented, evaluated, and generally conducted and how policies develop over time. For this purpose, this course also explores the political nature of the policy making process, which is not a purely scientific process but rather a political struggle over values, ideas, and philosophies.
