Fundamental principles of animation, both computer and traditional. Emphasis on 3D computer animation, editing and compositing. Storyboarding and animation project planning also covered. Students complete animated shorts and present research on 3D technologies, film-making or storytelling.

Prerequisites: DMST 5132 .
