Field of Study - Business Administration

Undergraduate Field of Study (24 hours)

All courses in the Field of Study must be completed with a grade of “C-” or higher, unless a transfer student has completed their Business Administration and Management Field of Study at another Texas public institution. The State of Texas defines the following six courses as Field of Study for Business Administration and Management degrees:

• ACCT 2302 ACCT 2302 - Principles of Accounting II - Managerial  
• ECON 2301 ECON 2301 - Principles of Macroeconomics  
• ECON 2302 ECON 2302 - Principles of Microeconomics  
• MATH 1324 MATH 1324 - Mathematics for Business and Social Sciences  
• MGMT 1301 MGMT 1301 - Business Principles ​

• DSCI 3321 DSCI 3321 - Statistics I  
• ISAM 1305 ISAM 1305 - Business Computer Applications  

Additional Information

ECON 2301  (component 080) and MATH 1324  (component 020) are also recommended for the Texas Common Core component.
