This course teaches students data analytics with a focus on the area of accounting. Students will learn and practice various analytical skills to perform audit data analytics, managerial analytics, financial statement analytics, and tax analytics. Students will become proficient in understanding and mastering data, develop an ability to evaluate the integrity of data, and gain proficiency in using computer applications for communicating analytical results and visualizations. Students will also be required to complete a written case analysis relating to data analytics.to evaluate the integrity of data and gain proficiency in using computer applications for data analyses. Prerequisites: ACCT 2301  or equivalent, FINC 5231  or equivalent, ISAM 5330  or equivalent.
