Introduction to basic probability and probability distributions, statistical comparison for one- and two-samples, analysis of variance, the fundamentals of regression modeling, including hypothesis testing, model selection, goodness of fit, and prediction. Introduction to statistical computation using R and Excel software packages. Not available for graduate credit for statistics majors.

Prerequisites: STAT 3334 or STAT 3308 or instructor’s approval
