The following content update was made to the Mechanical Engineering, B.S. program admissions requirements:
- Students without a class rank or Test scores will be reviewed based on the following process:
- If a student meets UHCL assured admissions criteria AND has taken and passed with a “B” or higher Precalculus or Calculus in high school, they can be directly admitted to the Mechanical Engineering major. This also includes students who have early college or dual credit for MATH 2412 or 2413.
- Students who meet UHCL assured admissions criteria but do NOT have the above-mentioned Math preparation can be admitted as pre-engineering.

PHYS 2425 and PHYS 2426 were added to the Chemistry, B.S. Degree Map .
4/3/24
The following content updates were made:
Three credit hours and lecture contact hours were assigned to WRIT 3313 .
WRIT 3313 added to Mathematical Science, Mathematics 7-12 Certification, B.A. major requiremets.
MENG 3314 was removed as a prerequisite for MENG 4343 . A grade of “C” or better was added to the remaining prerequisites for the course.
